About Us
Exodus Rottweilers is tucked away in a small town in East Tennessee called New Market. Here we live on a 300 acre farm with cattle, horses, and a few other livestock. Here we raise working and confirmation line Rottweilers.
We do compete in sieger style shows and dabbling into the AKC style shows as well to broaden our spectrum.
Exodus Rottweilers is also producing great working drive dogs which are being brought into the IGP and WDA sports. We are hoping to title our dogs within showing AND working!
Exodus strives to produce happy and healthy dogs and puppies with great potential.
Our Program
At Exodus Rottweilers we value the health, well being and the happiness of each dog and puppy here at our farm. We go for yearly routine check-ups, receive annual vaccination boosters and deworming treatments. Our adults once of age go through health testing to assure we only breed the best of health. Adults will have the following testing: elbows, hips, cardiac, eyes, and JLPP. This is usually sent and evaluated by OFA or ADRK.
It takes a lot of thought and planning just to begin. We first have to find a stud who will accentuate the soon to be dam. For this we will look into the health, temperament, confirmation and work drive. We want the pair to compliment each other in all the above aspects and hopefully we can achieve our goal in the breeding.
After the puppies arrive we watch the puppies carefully over the next few weeks. We start to incorporate "Puppy Culture". This puppy program helps shape the puppies lives in a manner that will help them excel. We incorporate many different environments and sensations. The goal is to raise our pups with emotional intelligence to take on the world. We will touch more on this program below in a video.
If the puppy is going to a pet home we do start to slowly incorporating basic obedience and potty training. Our goal with incorporating basic obedience and potty training is the hope when the puppy goes to his/her new home the puppy will have a great head start and hopefully make it a bit easier for the puppy parents.
If going to a working home we will work on building the drive and will to work. We will incorporate tugs, toys, and treats. If the area of work (IGP, tracking, agility, etc.) is know we start to socialize the puppy in this category.
When puppies go home all of the puppies will have contract, AKC registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatments, microchipped with AKC reunite microchip, and veterinarian health checked at eight weeks of age.
Becoming a Exodus Puppy Parent
If you are interested in an Exodus Rottweiler, we ask that you call, text, or email us. We will set up a time to discuss what aspects you are particularly looking for over the phone. Such as working ability, showing or just a family addition to the couch. We will also discuss general aspects such as registration, health, and what we expect from our puppy parents.
If approved we will ask for a non-refundable reservation fee to hold a puppy in your name. The reservation fee will go towards the full amount of the puppy. We have a list in which order reservations were placed. We do not allow puppy choices before the age of seven weeks.
Puppy choices will be held on Thursdays through Saturdays by appointment. We do this by appointment to allow everyone appropriate time to evaluate and discuss each individual puppy's personalities and characteristics. If the puppies from the litter does not meet the desired characteristics desired the deposit may be opted to move to another litter.
If for any reason the puppy does not work out in the new home we ask that Exodus Rottweilers retain first right to the puppy/dog in question. We do ask that new puppy parents sign a contract quoting what is to be expect of the new puppy parents, health guarantees, etc. Please contact us to be emailed a digital copy. If you are interested in a certain litter please inform us. We can place you on our reservation list for that particular litter if there is availability. We accept a limited number of early reservations. If the reservation list is full we can place your name on our waiting list. If a puppy becomes available we will go through the waiting list.

Reservation Fee
Our reservation fee is $500 to reserve a puppy in your name. Reservation fees are absolutely non-refundable. Deposits are ONLY refundable in the case we can not provide a puppy. Reservation fees are transferable to any litter, puppy of any gender, etc. As the breeder Exodus has the right to return a reservation fee or refuse to sell a puppy at any time.
Pricing
Each litter our puppies are generally priced the same. Our pricing is based off of the breeding pair and their merits. Lineage, health testing and show/working titles all factor into pricing of the puppies. We range from $2500-$4000. Prices also depend on the puppy chosen and their potential.

Agility takes place within an obstacle course. Dogs are trained to make jumps, travel through tunnels, and navigate various walkways--all in a specific order.

Obedience increases a dog's understanding and reliability in responding to commands. At a trial, the dog and handler will perform various predefined obedience exercises, which will be evaluated and scored by a judge.
